Mix Talent was engaged by a major pharmaceutical company to lead a neurology sales expansion.
The client needed support planning and administering all hiring events, travel, scheduling, assessments, and interview guides for 200+ hires, including:
- Long Term Care Specialists
- Neuro Sales Specialists
- Patient Access Leads
- Patient Access Managers
The COVID-19 pandemic and a client shift in PDUFA date presented unique challenges on this project.
Approach
Mix assigned a team to this expansion, including a recruiting lead and 9 recruiters to be a seamless extension of the client’s TA team.
Mix launched an outbound recruiting campaign with Visual Job Posts reaching over 300,000 views for these positions.
Due to the pandemic, Mix successfully converted over 100 in-person interviews to virtual in less than 48 hours.
Also, in the middle of recruiting, the client received news that the expected PDUFA date shifted out by a quarter. Mix supported candidate warming plans to address this change.
Results
Overall, the project resulted in:
90% of hires have been filled with only a 4% decline rate even though no start date has been identified
Recruiting and marketing efforts led to 30,000+ applicants and hiring managers interviewing 80%+ of candidates presented
Client engaged Mix to be their steady state RPO provider to fill 60+ additional roles as Mix recruited for the sales expansion
